Every MacuShield product contains all three macular carotenoids, providing 10mg of lutein, 10mg ofmeso-zeaxanthin and 2mg of zeaxanthin per day.

This formula of macular carotenoids has been developed in collaboration with leading eye experts.

The macular carotenoids in MacuShield are obtained from marigolds (Tagetes Erecta), the petals are specifically used for this purpose. MacuShield products are nutritional supplements and should not replace a balanced diet.

MacuShield® Original was first manufactured in 2006 where it was launched in the UK market.

Since then the brand has grown from strength to strength and is now sold in many different countries across the world. In 2015, MacuShield® was acquired by Alliance Pharma PLC Group.
